May is National Mental Health Awareness Month.  We had a couple great developmental readings at Saint Elizabeths Hospital May 11 & 13.  Many thanks to all who attended, including the individuals in care, and a Huge and Heartfelt Thank You to the great staff who made it all happen.

2013 DC ARTS GRANT & FREE EVENTS


Hilary Kacser is highly honored to have been awarded a DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (dcarts.dc.gov/) Community Arts Grant for FY 2013 to develop her solo show,“DisordR, The Play,” about Pakrat Patty the Hoarder.  Born in Laura Zam's solo performance lab,“DisordR” will evolve through a series of developmental community collaboration workshop events.

Big Success with our First Free Event
Saturday, December 15, 2012, 2:30 p.m.


Second event, on April 20, 2013 -- our Height/Benning Library Return Engagement by Popular Demand -- was equally stunning.

Thank you to all who came and gave such great feedback at our third event Saturday afternoon, April 27, MLK Main Branch, 1 p.m. -- Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library -- in the basement theatre, Room "A5,"  1:00 p.m.
